The prices shown here refer to crystalline osmium and not to the toxic base material raw osmium. Prices change daily and are displayed on this and other pages.

Please note that a price and not a rate is shown here, as crystalline osmium is not traded on the stock exchange.

A price differs from an exchange rate because it does not arise on a stock exchange but, as in the case of osmium, still depends on influences that change daily. These include influencing factors such as the market prices for raw osmium, but also the quality of the raw materials supplied, the purification effort, the crystallisation, the offcut, the recycling rate and other influences. The price is recalculated daily on the basis of many factors.

Crystalline osmium is for this reason also excluded from exchange on all selling platforms that deal in semi-finished products (and not in fixed-priced jewellery, watches or collectibles), as a new price would already be the basis for a return of the goods on the day following the order.
